Accessing Canadian Data Tutorials

Carleton University ODESI Tutorials
Contains 5 tutorials (less than 5 min each) on using ODESI to find and download data. Many of the Public Use Microdata Files (PUMFs) released by Statistics Canada can be downloaded from ODESI. Nesstar also works in a similar manner to ODESI.

Statistics Canada QGIS Tutorials
Five tutorials (between 3-11 min) on how understanding GIS and using QGIS to create spatial data visualizations.
Research By Design's Introduction to SPSS Statistics
Contains 43 tutorials covering beginner to intermediate use of SPSS software. Videos range from 4 to 15 min in length.
SAS Tutorials
Free e-learning modules on SAS created by SAS. Also available en Francais!
Getting Started with R-Series
Developed by Mike Marin and Ladan Hamadani at the University of British Columbia, this playlist contains 17 videos for novice R users. The MarinStats Channel also has intermediate and advanced R tutorials available.

ICPSR Tutorials

ICPSR 101 Playlist
Contains ten short (under 3 min) videos on how to navigate ICPSR data and also fundamentals of data research.
