University of Regina alumni maintain borrowing privileges and access to certain electronic resources through the Dr. John Archer Library & Archives (Archer Library).
Borrowing:
Electronic resources:
- Archer Library provides different levels of access to electronic resources for students, faculty, staff, and alumni. This is determined by educational licensing contracts imposed by publishers and budgetary limitations which prevent wider access to these materials.
- Access electronic resources available to alumni members when off-campus by using your uregina.ca login. Additional electronic resources are available through Open Access Databases.
- Archer Library, like many higher education institutions in Canada, supports the global Open Access (OA) initiative and financially supports some OA initiatives to make scholarly publishing more accessible to the general public and alumni.
- Alumni members can access a larger selection of subscription-based electronic resources when on-campus using the Library’s computer labs.
