About

Collections

The Archer Library Collection supports the teaching and research mission of the University of Regina.  The collection contains a broad range of materials and formats, including books, journals, streaming audio and video, datasets, microfilm and more, most of which can be found through QuickFind.

Subject Librarians select material in consultation with faculty and students, while our Collections Assessment Team oversees the development and management of the entire collection.  The Archer Library also participates in several library consortia which allow it to strategically extend our collections through shared licensing and reciprocal borrowing agreements.  Several of these consortia also support Open Access publishing initiatives, which aligns with Archer's commitment to Open Access.

We welcome purchase recommendations.  Please contact your subject librarian or submit a purchase request.

Please send all collections inquiries to the Collections Assessment Team at CAT@uregina.ca.
