"Still Life" Contest (March 18 - April 6, 2025)

The "Still Life" contest happened from March 18 until April 6, 2025. 

We received 19 entries about objects to put on a "Still Life" table and 10 Still Life uploads, (check out the gallery below 👇). Thank you to the 21 undergraduate students and 5 graduate students for entering their name for the random draw! 

The lucky winners of the book signed by David Garneau "Dark Chapters: Reading the Still Lives of David Garneau" donated by University of Regina Press are: Wendy Forsberg, Kavya Jatinkumar Shah, Hannah O.

"Still Life" Contest Rules

Contest Rules:

  1. Participants must be currently registered students at the University of Regina or federated colleges
  2. Entries must be submitted by the deadline
  3. Participants may submit multiple entries, but can only win one prize
  4. Dr. John Archer Library & Archives will notify the winners via email on Monday, April 7, 2025 by 1:30 p.m. We will contact the winners using the information provided by an eligible participant on the entry form.  If a winner does not reply to the email by Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 5:00 p.m., the Dr. John Archer Library shall have the right, but not the obligation, to select an alternative winner.
  5. By submitting you give permission to the Dr. John Archer Library & Archives to reproduce and use your submission (using your name and department/faculty), either wholly or in part, in any medium (including but not limited to publications and on the internet) for promotional purposes.
