Art in Archer Winners!

The Archer Library & Archives, in partnership with the Faculty of Media, Art, and Performance (MAP) and the Faculty of Science, thanks the 50 people who participated in the Art in Archer event on October 23, 2025.

Participants created unique pieces inspired by images from the U of R’s Herbarium Collection, resulting in 25 submissions that showcased their creativity.

Congratulations to this year’s winners:

  • 🏆 President and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Keshen’s Selection: Pressley Hinck

  • 🎨 Art in Archer Judging Panel (Archer Library & Archives, Faculty of Map, Faculty of Science): Dakota Schmidt

  • ❤️ People’s Choice (Instagram): Danveer Singh

We’d also like to recognize Emma Shogren with an Honourable Mention for her beautiful artwork, which was missed in the social media voting post.
