How do I sign in?

Go to “My Library Account” on the library website or in Quick Find click on Guest to access your library card. If you are a current University of Regina student, staff or faculty sign in with your uregina.ca username and password. Public access card users need to sign in with their library barcode number and password.

What's my uregina.ca username and password?

The login information for UR Courses and UR webmail is your uregina.ca username and password.

Why do I have to sign in to Quick Find?

Signing in will:

  • let you access online resources  
  • show the loan period for items (2 hours, 3 weeks, semester, etc)
  • allow you to request an item that is currently signed out to another library user

Signing in will also let you access your account information. You can:

  • view items checked out
  • renew items
  • access saved searches and saved items

What does "Available at" mean?

In Quick Find if the item is "Available at", it means it is a physical item in the library and available to loan.

How do I search for only newer materials?

In Quick Find go to Advanced Search. You'll see there is a "Publication date" drop down menu which allows you to select a time frame (for example specific date range, last 2 years, last 5 years, last 10 years). This will limit your search results to the specified time span.

How do I browse for items?

You can browse by author, title, subject and call number in Quick Find. Simply click on browse search and choose your preferred browsing method from the dropdown list. 

You can now use Virtual Browse to look at items near your item on the shelf. It is available for books with a physical copy Available in the Library
