Dilex Search

Start a Search

To start a search with Dilex Search, you will first need to login using your uregina username and password.

If you haven’t used Dilex Search before, you can simply start by typing a query and either hitting the enter/return key or clicking on the search icon.

This will create a new task with the same name as the query, and generate a set of search results.

Clicking on a search result will open a new tab with the library catalog record for the item providing detailed information about the resource selected. Closing that tab or hitting the back button will bring you back to the search results list.

Clicking terms in "Highlight by" will colour-code the search results based on the inclusion of the term.

If you find any search results you would like to save for later, you can click the + icon to save them to a workspace that is unique to this task. If you would like to continue searching on the same topic, new queries can be issued in the search bar at the top of the page.

If you would like to start a new search on a different topic, first click the “< All Tasks” button at the top of the page and issue your new query from the Dilex Search home page.
