Introduction and Research Basics

Use the tabs above to access resources for research in visual arts.  If you require assistance at any stage of research or writing, please contact Michael Shires, Librarian for Visual Arts, by emailing Michael.Shires@uregina.ca.

A helpful resource that has tips to improve your academic and research skills is called SPARK and it is available here.

Another useful resource is the research basics page on the MAP guide that is available here.

Finally, there is an excellent source titled Choosing & using resources a guide to academic research (1st. Canadian ed.).  This free, vetted open education resource discusses various aspects of undertaking a research assignment.
