History Research Guide: Websites

Currently housed within the University of Calgary Digital Collections Our Roots is a Canadian digital archive with over 5,000 titles about local history in Canada from coast to coast. Records are in English or French. You'll need to register online to use the site but that takes just a minute. Unless you know the title of the book you are looking for, it pays to use the Advanced Search located under Find a Book. This is a really useful site if you are researching local history in Canada.

Located at the University of Toronto. A great site that provides useful information about those confusing terms like primary and secondary sources in history and other information about how to prepare an assignment.
