2024 Summer Movie Celebration Contest (July 24 - August 14, 2024)

The Summer Movie Celebration happened from July 24 until August 14, 2023. 

Thank you to the 29 undergraduate students and 6 graduate students for their participation!

On August 15, 2024 the random draw for the library gift bag resulted in the following ten winners:

Summer Movie Celebration - Contest Rules

The "Summer Movie Celebration" contest is open to all registered U of R students. The aim of this contest is to increase the awareness of the library physical film collection and the library databases that provide free streaming video access to feature films.  

Contest Rules:

  1. Participants must be a U of R or federated colleges affiliate.
  2. Entries must be submitted by the deadline
  3. Participants may submit multiple entries, but can only win one prize
  4. By submitting you give permission to the Dr. John Archer Library & Archives to reproduce and use your submission (using your name and department/faculty), either wholly or in part, in any medium (including but not limited to publications and on the internet) for promotional purposes.
