Chicago style is the most commonly used citation style for History.
The most recent edition of the The Chicago Manual of Style (18th edition) is available in our libraries as an ebook. Please note that the Chicago Manual uses two styles of citation. For this course, you are to use the "Notes and Bibliography" format, found in Chapter 14 of the manual.
