British Library Newspapers collection contains full runs of over 100 newspapers specially selected by the British Library to best represent nineteenth century Britain. This collection includes national and regional newspapers, as well as those from both established country or university towns and the new industrial powerhouses of the manufacturing Midlands, as well as Scotland, Ireland and Wales.

The Archer Library has access to parts I to V.
" Date Range. Users will notice that coverage of titles from Parts I and II does not extend beyond 1900, even if some of those individual titles continued to publish issues in the 20th century. A decision was taken by the British Library, primarily based around rights issues, to make the stop date for the series 1900.
For Parts III-V, a different approach was taken, with some titles extending into the 20th century.
