UR Courses
You can provide:
- Links to the University’s electronic subscriptions (ebooks and ejournals); Open Access materials; Open Educational Resources; materials in the public domain; and Creative Commons licenced materials.
- Copies of Open Access or Creative Commons licensed material where copying is explicitly permitted.
- Copies of your own original work for which you hold the copyright.
- Copies of material for which you have obtained copyright clearance or permission
You cannot provide:
- Copies of material, including scans, for which you do not hold copyright or do not have explicit permission to distribute copies.
Library Reserve
You can place on reserve:
- Library books and journals
- Course materials such as lecture notes, exercises, exam answers and assignments
- Personal copies (owned by faculty)
- AV formats such as CDs, DVDs, and videos
