The Dr. John Archer Library & Archives invites you to participate in the "Blind Date with a Sask Book" event, made possible in part by the generous donation of two sets of books (approximate value $125!) and swag from the University of Regina Press. The following titles are in the prize package: Dislocations by Karen Enns; Owóknage The Story of Carry The Kettle Nakoda First Nation by Carry the Kettle First Nation, contributions by Jim Tanner, Tracey Tanner, David R. Miller, and Peggy Martin McGuire; The Life Sentences of Rik McWhinney by Rik McWhinney and The Ecological Buffalo by Wes Olson by (photographer) Johane Janelle.
Borrow a "Blind Date Sask Book" and complete the "Rate your Date" form by February 14th, 2023 (11:59 pm) for a chance to win one of two sets of books and swag from the University of Regina Press!
The "Blind Date with a Sask Book" runs from February 1st through February 14th (Valentine's Day), and aims to pair a reader with their perfect Sask book. Visit the display in the Archer Library to browse some great books (fiction, novels, poetry, plays and non-fiction) about Saskatchewan and/or by a Saskatchewan author.
You can choose one to check out as your blind date. What better way to spend the days leading up to Valentine’s day than curled up with a good book? You might find a new favorite or even your one true literary love. It’s always exciting to find out what book you’ve chosen.
