The easiest way to find Company Benchmarking Reports is to enter the company name in the search box.
Company Benchmarking Reports are also linked to in Industry Reports where the company is included as a major company in the industry (go to the Companies tab on the left side of the Industry Report).
TIP: In a Company Benchmarking Report, you can access different parts of the report by clicking on the menu on the left side of the screen -- sometimes more and better information is in the sections you have to click through to.
TIP: You can download or open the Company Benchmarking Report as a PDF. The PDF usually has a date of publication, which can make citation easier, but you can always use "n.d." instead of a date if you just use the web version.
You can find Industry Reports and Specialized Industry Reports by any of these ways:
1) In the search box, typing in the name of a major company in that industry, and making a selection from the dropdown or from the results page (make sure you select an Industry Report or Specialized Industry Report, not a Company Benchmarking Report).
2) In the search box, typing in keywords associated with your industry (e.g. "fast food" or "sporting equipment"), and making a selection from the dropdown or from the results page.
3) Browsing by industry. Start by selecting the Industry tab along the top of the home page, and then narrowing down to the specific industry and geography you are looking for.
TIP: Industry Reports and Specialized Industry Reports almost always have an author and a date of publication. These should be at the top of the At-A-Glance section, but if they disappear, try reloading the webpage.

You can use either tool, or try out both and pick the one that provides information you think is more useful.
Both can work with prompt "nudging" such as asking the tool to make an answer shorter, or to make an answer a specific length (e.g. less than 500 words).
