Getting Started

Not sure how to start?

MLA citation requires in-text citations and a Works Cited list. There are rules for both of these that must be followed.

Use the tabs along the top of this page to navigate.  "MLA Citation Basics" covers the basics and provides links to guidelines and examples. "Library Resources" includes a video tutorial to get you started, as well as links to resources and help at the U of Regina libraries.  "Online Resources" will guide you to free guides and resources available online.

You can always contact the library, or email the English liaison librarian if you have any questions -- we are here to help!
